Designed to serve as both a functional reception desk and a striking work of art, this piece was created for The Alexander Hotel, a boutique art hotel renowned for its curated collection of original works. As part of the hotel's remodeling, the design called for a reception desk that would embody the same artistic spirit found throughout the property.

The desk's sculptural, abstract form was built by stacking CNC-cut wood to achieve its fluid curves, then finished with body filler and hand-sanded to a smooth surface. It was finished in a brass-infused paint for a rich, metallic surface. The piece features handmade cabinetry and a marbled stone tabletop, resulting in a striking addition to The Alexander Hotel's remodel.
